AGEISM IN THE WORKPLACE AND JOB SEARC...

Description

Presented by: Betty Flasch, Global Talent Management, Career Management Consultant
In today?s job market, older workers find it a major hurdle to stay relevant among the growing millennial workforce. In this session Betty will address what is happening in the workplace in regards to ageism and help understand the changing workforce and demographics.  Learn how to fit in by sharpening your current tools and by learning new tools.  You can overcome these perceived and real hurdles and use what you learn to pivot toward the future.

Betty Flasch is a Global Talent Management Consultant and Career Management Coach who has worked with senior leaders and mid-level executives and individual contributors across various industries, countries and cultures, as they transition to new roles. Her efforts include helping clients to develop their own career management map (in view of past career choices, key strengths, skills and interests, and career goals) to ensure a best fit for their next (short and longer-term) positions.
To develop her expertise, Betty has held global leadership and executive HR/Talent Management roles in both Global Corporate and Higher Education environments, in the US, Europe and Asia, working and living abroad for extensive periods. Such experiences allow her to relate to clients at all organizational levels within a context of real-world issues, designing and implementing workable, practical solutions for clients.
Betty holds an advanced degree in Human Resources & Industrial Relations and is certified in Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR), Crucial Conversations Certified Trainer, HOGAN Leadership Assessments and IDI-Intercultural Development Inventory.
