Bring along friends and colleagues and join us for this month's luncheon and the opportunity to be inspired by the story and work of Brian Floriani, the founder of Bernie's Book Bank. Located in Lake Bluff, the non-profit has collected, processed and distributed more than 10 million quality books to at-risk children and serves more than 333,000 at-risk children annually.
The general public is welcome. The cost to attend is $25 for members and $35 for non-members, with reservations required. (Please note: reservations are requested by noon on 11/7-- sorry no refunds for cancellations after that time.)
ABOUT BERNIE'S BOOK BANK
Founded as a 501(c)(3) in September of 2009, Bernie's Book Bank collects, processes and distributes quality new and gently used children's books to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers and school-age children throughout Chicagoland, delivering twelve quality new or gently used books per year to at-risk children - because book ownership enables and empowers them in their pursuit of a brighter future and a better life through reading.
