COC BUSINESS AFTER HOURS: A Safe Place

Join A Safe Place for an exclusive After-Hours Chamber Event, where business and community leaders come together for an evening of networking, impact, and awareness. Hosted at The Gorton center on April 16th, this special event will provide an opportunity to connect with fellow chamber members while learning about A Safe Place’s mission to end domestic violence and human trafficking in Lake County.
Enjoy complimentary drinks and light hors d’oeuvres as we showcase the comprehensive services A Safe Place provides, from emergency shelter and legal advocacy to counseling and long-term support. A highlight of the evening will be a live virtual tour of our Zion facility, giving attendees a firsthand look at how we support survivors on their journey to safety and independence.
We’ll also share how businesses can get involved through partnerships, sponsorships, and upcoming events like our EmpoweRun 5k, Wine Women & Shoes, Drive Out Domestic Violence Golf Outing, and Unmask the Violence Gala.
