Today?s concert is Wichita Jacks - pairs a strong rock bass & drums rhythm section with acoustic guitar, mandolin and fiddle to offer a new sonic perspective on a repertoire ranging from the southern rock of the Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker and Charlie Daniels, gritty country numbers by Johnny Cash and Steve Earle, to the psychedelic twang of the Grateful Dead. They blend their fiery acoustic attack with beautiful vocal harmonies, formidable instrumental solos and even a hint of bluegrass to bring their growing audience a universally enjoyable sound.
