Are cover letters still needed? There's a lot of conflicting advice out there -- "Cover letters are ignored...Cover letters are important..." What to do? Chris will bring you up to date on using the cover letter as a strategic tool. She will also discuss related communications, including emails, LinkedIn messages, and more.
Chris offers a deep knowledge of current job search practices as well as practical advice from her previous experience in business operations, marketing, corporate HR, training, and headhunting. She’s a Certified Professional Resume Writer, and has been reducing stress for job seekers since 1989 as “The Job Search Coach.”
She’s the author of a Barnes & Noble career guide and has been quoted in "I'm on LinkedIn - Now What???" A major focus of her work is to help her clients avoid the “black hole” of Internet job search, get over the barricades and reach the decision-makers.
