Drug Take Back Day

Northwestern Medicine will host ten drive-up drug takeback sites from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 25. We offer a convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused opioids and other unused medications. Unused medications thrown in the trash can be retrieved and misused, or illegally sold. If you flush them, they can contaminate the water supply. The event provides a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused opioids and other prescription medications.
