Five Lieutenants: The Heartbreaking ...

Description

Author James Carl Nelson will discuss the true story of five brilliant young soldiers, including George Alexander McKinlock of Lake Forest, who took up the call to arms for their country in 1917. The book is based on rare, uncensored letters from the officers.  Books will be available for purchase.   The lecture, presented in conjunction with Lake Forest College, will take place on Thursday, April 4th at 7:00 pm at C. Durand Commons, Lake Forest College Middle Campus.  The cost is free.
