Intro to Letterpress Printing

Do you love all things paper? Are you intrigued by the printing process and are ready to dip your toes into the wonderful world of letterpress printing? Join us for this introductory class on letterpress printing where you will learn the basics of mixing ink, setting up the press and pulling various prints on our flatbed cylinder press. Grab your friends and join us for this unique event! We’ll have different designs available for print based on the season. $125/per person for this experience. *Ages 14+. In order to give each student proper attention, class size is limited to 8 participants; may cancel if registration is 4 persons or less. About me My name is Carmela and I'm a lettering artist, letterpress printer, stationery designer and high school Spanish teacher. A California native, I live in the suburbs of Chicago with my husband, children and two pups. I'm so excited to combine my love for teaching + letterpress and look forward to seeing what you create!
