PARADE ROUTE
The parade will begin at 10 am at the intersection of Vine Ave/Western Avenue and proceed north on Western Ave to Westminster, (crossing Illinois Road and Deerpath), then turn left (west) on Westminster past Bank Lane, Forest Ave and Oakwood Ave to Summit Ave; then turn right (north) on Summit Ave for one block to the end of the parade route on the side of West Park near the Summit Ave/Summit Place intersection. Don't miss the Lake Forest Day Parade, an annual tradition hosted by the Lake Forest American Legion.
This year will mark the 105th edition of Lake Forest Day, sponsored by the American Legion Post 264. This years’ theme is “Lake Forest Salutes All Veterans”. Lake Forest Day is the largest annual celebration in the City and is attended by thousands of resident and visitors from surrounding communities.
