Performing Arts Summer Theatre Academy and the Gorton Community Center present Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Saturday, July 9th at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. and Sunday, July 10th at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM in the John & Nancy Hughes Theater.

The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory will light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. All of the famous characters from Willy Wonka and Grandpa Joe to Veruca Salt and Augustus Gloop to Mike Teavee and Violet Beauregarde are brought to life by 54 young actors. 

Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and new songs by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tells Roald Dahl's timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir.
