Create a patriotic or nautical flag canvas by tearing strips of paper, tissue, ribbon and fabric for a basic grid. Add Layers of paint, meaningful words, twine and then stencil a focal element ("Go Jump in the Lake", "Lake Forest", "Lake Bluff") A coat of varnish protects the finished piece. No previous art or painting experience required. All materials supplied.
