As State’s Attorney for Lake County, Michael Nerheim oversees an office of 144 attorneys, investigators, victim coordinators, paralegals, support staff, plus two certified comfort dogs, and a corps of volunteers. He has been named State’s Attorney of the Year twice by the Illinois State Crime Commission. Join Mr. Nerheim as he recounts how his office prosecutes criminal acts and seeks justice while showing empathy and compassion for the victims of crime.
