Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition

Description

Aspiring local artists, equipped with chalk, will have an opportunity to create sidewalk art! The library is hosting their first Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition in conjunction with the 2nd annual Northwestern Medicine Lake Bluff Criterium. This is a one day event, held rain or shine. Registration begins June 17, 2013 and ends July 17, 2013. Entries will be judged in three categories: a youth category (age 11 and under), a student category (age 12-18), and a family/group category. The artists will compete for prizes including the “Staff Favorite” award. Prizes will be awarded based on the theme Bicycle Tales and artistic quality. Space is limited.
