Description
Our Summer Evening Orchestras provide an exhilarating, high-quality orchestral experience with fellow young musicians from across the Chicago area. It's the perfect way to stay sharp and engaged with your musical studies, even with a busy summer schedule. Whether you’re juggling a summer job or attending summer school, you’ll have the chance to learn incredible repertoire and prepare for an awe-inspiring performance.
The Evening Jazz Ensembles offer an equally thrilling journey into the world of jazz, where you’ll jam with talented peers and hone your skills under the guidance of expert instructors. This program is ideal for those who can’t commit to a full-day music camp but still want to keep the rhythm alive all summer long.
Both programs take place at the picturesque and historic MYAC Center in Fort Sheridan at 878 Lyster Road, Highwood, IL – an inspiring setting for an unforgettable musical experience.
Mark your calendars for the final concert, where the harmonious sounds of the orchestra will blend with the vibrant rhythms of jazz, creating an afternoon of musical magic. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to witness and be a part of an extraordinary showcase of young talent. It’s going to be an afternoon to remember!
