The Holly Jolly Concert with Lake Forest Civic Orchestra

Gorton Community Center and the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra are proud to team up for this family holiday concert of Christmas Carols, old and new. A chamber orchestra, a brass group and a string orchestra have been formed from the roster of the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra, Lake Forest’s own community orchestra. Enjoy classic Christmas favorites like “Jingle Bells,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” with new carols from Brian Balmages “Sweet Petite Winter Suite,” such as “Candy Canes” and “Peppermint Bark”. Sharing this afternoon of music with family and friends will start your holiday season off with joyous sleigh bells and leave you with a warm toasty feeling that will last long after the music is done.
