Description
Reception and lecture by Kathleen Van Ella, representative for the artist since 1987, and founder of Portraits/Chicago Inc., will offer insights from the life and work of Weiliang- artist suppression in the Cultural Revolution, emigration to the U.S., acceptance in Chicago's River North Gallery District, trials by fire, and present day success in America and China.
