The Story Behind the Writing of the F...

Description

Lifelong Lake Bluff resident Kraig Moreland will share the nuts and bolts of writing historical fiction and discuss his book The Furnace Girl, based on Lake Bluff’s spookiest unsolved murder. Learn how he researched the story of Elfrieda Knaak, who was found naked and severely burned in the furnace room of Village Hall in 1928. Mr. Moreland will also discuss finding a co-author and publisher, as well as other elements of the publishing process.

Registration is not required; however, we always recommend registering so that we can ensure we have enough seats and that the room is adequately setup. Program registrants can opt to receive a reminder email 3 days before the start of the program.
