"Welcome Christmas"

It's the most wonderful time of the year...for music! Join the LCSO on Saturday, December 16th at 7:30 PM at the Gurnee Community Church for our annual "Welcome Christmas" program. A perfect way to welcome the Christmas season with the whole family, we aim to provide you with musical experiences familiar and new. Don't miss the Corelli Christmas Concerto, a masterwork of seasonal repertoire. In 1714 Arcangelo Corelli's "Christmas Concerto" was published posthumously and has since become a staple work of the season. We will also be featuring a celebration of legendary Christmas fusion group "Mannheim Steamroller" that is sure to inspire you to carol! Which you will get to do as we finish the program off with LeRoy Anderson's "Christmas Festival" and an audience sing along of some classic carols!
