Woodlands Academy hosts Fine Arts Evening

Enjoy an evening of student drawing, painting, ceramics and photography exhibits – along with performances by the school’s choirs and orchestra – during Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart’s annual Fine Arts Evening Friday, May 16, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Musical selections will include those performed during the all-girls college-prep high school’s recent Gold-award-winning participation at the WorldStrides OnStage Heritage Festival in St. Louis. This celebration of the arts, which is open to the public free of charge, begins with a student art exhibition at 6 p.m. in Woodlands Academy’s Gloria Dei Center (the former Barat College Cooney Library building). This will be followed by the Spring Concert at 7 p.m. in the chapel inside Woodlands’ main building. Both buildings are on the Woodlands Academy campus, 760 E. Westleigh Road, Lake Forest.
