Woodlands Academy Hosts Top Chef Event for Middle School Girls

Top Chef International, an event allowing 6th and 7th grade girls to experience other cultures through food and fellowship, takes place Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart, 760 E. Westleigh Road, Lake Forest. Participants will join Mr. Steve, Woodlands Academy’s chef, and exchange students representing a few of the 41 nations comprising the Network of Sacred Heart Schools to cook dishes from Mexico, Chile and France. They’ll also enjoy samples of all the dishes they’ve created and learn new cooking skills to share with family and friends.
