Please join the League of Women Voters of Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area on May 20, 2017, from 3:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Gorton Community Center for Your Child’s Health: The Impact of Climate Change, Health Care and Gun Safety with V. Fan Tait, MD FAAP, Chief Medical Officer for the American Academy of Pediatrics and Senior Vice-President Child Health and Wellness. Dr. Tait, a pediatrician with public policy expertise, will educate and inform participants as to current scientific findings, how they inform public policy, and how they impact on the health and development of children. The program will be moderated our League Treasurer Steven R. Potsic, MD,MPH, FACPM, Regional Health Administrator, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (retired).
