About Us

Lake Bluff Public Library’s collection offers borrowers approximately 50,000 books, as well as audiobooks, DVD s, CDs, computer games, eBooks, eAudiobooks, downloadable music, and current magazine and newspaper subscriptions. Programs are presented for all ages--adults, teens and children. Services for adults include reader’s advisory, book clubs, a summer reading club, and personal computer instruction. The Children’s Department provides storytimes, summer and winter reading clubs, crafts, and book clubs for middle and
high school students. Special services offered by the library include Wi-Fi, interlibrary loans through the Reaching Across Illinois Library
System, and computer workstations with internet access. Library visitors may register to vote, have documents notarized, find tax forms, have documents notarized, and use the photocopy machine. Private meeting space is available for Lake Bluff residents.
